The Air France DC3 goes to the movies.

Published on - March 05th, 2020 — Partnership

Air France Studio played a part in the historical film De Gaulle, directed by Gabriel Le BOMIN, showing in cinemas today, by organizing the ferry flight of its legendary DC3 F-BBBE between Paris-Orly and the film sets located at Melun aerodrome (France).

Two of the film’s actors, Lambert WILSON, in the role of De Gaulle, and Isabelle CARRE, portraying Yvonne got a close look of the legendary Air France DC3 during its landing. One of the film’s sequences depicts General De Gaulle walking in front of the stunning propeller aircraft. While filming this scene, Lambert WILSON, who is an aviation fan, was able to visit the aircraft which makes up part of Air France’s historic heritage.
